LYNCHBURG, VA—April 16, 2013 United Way of Central Virginia honored TRAX with the “Groundbreaker Award” at their annual awards breakfast. The award—which was “given in recognition to a company with a successful first time workplace campaign”—was presented by City of Lynchburg official Marjette Upshur to TRAX Human Resources Director Heather Welcher.

TRAX joined the United Way effort for the first time in 2012, and was pleased to attend the awards breakfast. Attending with Welcher were TRAX CIO Steve Justis, and Directors of Marketing Keith Mann and Mike Casey.

United Way offered awards and honors to many area individuals and companies who excelled during the 2012 “Opening Doors…Changing Lives” campaign.
